Create a poster that brings awareness to any social issue of your choosing.

Solution

I started by brainstorming social issues that I’m passionate about. After some research, I landed on animal testing due to my love for animals and desire to advocate for their safety. 

 

Bunnies are one of the most commonly researched and tested on animals, so they are often used as visuals in cruelty-free campaigns. I considered recognizable graphics that bunnies are featured in, and thought of vintage valentines cards with cute illustrations of bunnies, which are given to loved ones as a form of adoration. I used the same style and recognizable heart as these vintage valentine cards, but showed the bunny being tested on by being injected with a syringe. This poster is meant to invoke an emotional response, the viewer should feel pity for the cute bunny and want to stop this practice. The poster also offers a way to help fight for the cause, one can purchase from brands with approved cruelty-free logos.
