Create an infographic on any topic of you choosing that displays data using graphic design principles. 

Solution

I created an infographic on recreational visits at America’s national parks in the past 10 years. I chose the grand canyon since it is one of the most recognizable national parks. I integrated a histogram through the canyon to make the design more visually interesting. I chose pastel colors that are reminiscent of a sunset to convey a sense of calmness to mirror the serene experiences that national parks offer. The data in the lower section of the infographic shows some of the most visited parks, which is useful for people seeking parks to visit.
